Artistic Swim
Artistic swimming, formerly called synchronized swimming, is a sport that combines swim, gymnastics, and dance. We offer many options for swimmers that range from introduction to age group competitive teams. Swimmers ages 6 and up are welcome but they must be able to swim comfortably in the deep end. A swim safety test must be completed before program placement.

Intro Artistic Swim Summer Program
Perfect for swimmers who love the water, dance, and gymnastics, our Intro to Artistic Swim Summer Program is a fun way to build swim skills while exploring the exciting sport of artistic (synchronized) swimming.
Swimmers practice with our swim team two days each week to build endurance, strength, and stroke technique, then spend one day each week with an artistic swim coach learning foundational artistic swim skills. Over the summer, they will prepare a routine to music and perform it at our Annual Summer Swim Show on Aug 22, 2026.
To enroll, swimmers must first take a free swim placement test to determine their swim level. This takes place every Monday evening at 5:30 pm at Shamel Park Pool.
Starting June 1st, swim placement tests will take place at 6:45 pm at Shamel Park Pool. Click on the Register button to sign up for a FREE swim placement test.
